It’s Time to Vote!

As a 501(c)3 organization, Just Economics is nonpartisan and does not endorse or oppose any political candidate or party. We do; however, support everyone’s right to vote! This year we’re partnering with Jenna from Patton Ave Pet Company and Democracy NC to get out the vote!

Check out VoteAVL.org for all the voting information you need all in one place! You can look up your voter registration status, register to vote online, request an absentee ballot, look up your polling place, check out candidate guides and more – all in one easy location!

There, you can sign the individual pledge to vote and business owners can sign the business pledge committing to encourage employees to register to vote, provide non-partisan information about the candidates and issues that will be on the ballot, so that employees can make an educated choice, and allow each employee ample time to vote on Election Day!

In 2020, in-person early voting period begins Thursday, October 15, and ends Saturday, October 31. Check out the early voting sites here. You can vote early at any of the sites and register to vote on-site during early voting. There is no voter registration onsite on Election day and you must vote at your precinct.
