Owned by the South Carolina Presbyteries as a non-profit, The South Carolina Inn at Montreat, founded in 1912, is the oldest, continuous operating accommodation in Montreat, The Brearley Home is a dormitory-style accommodation with 16 rooms and 8 bathrooms. The 8 Kirk Apartments and the Suite Carolina are efficiency accommodations including 2 ADA apartments. It’s a wonderful place for family/group/individual retreats in peaceful surroundings.
