The Resale Store re-sells donated items, such as clothing, small household items and furniture. In the last fiscal year, the store generated over $190,000, which was used entirely to help finance programs and basic needs for survivors of interpersonal violence, and their children, on the local level. The success of this fund-raising effort is due to the large numbers of hours worked by store volunteers and the generosity of the community at large.
All proceeds from the thrift store go to support Safelight’s efforts to provide education about this issue and to serve the survivors of interpersonal violence in Henderson County.
